Esther Smith, portrayed by Claudia DeMartino of Rotterdam, kneels for the finale of "Under the Bamboo Tree" between her two younger sisters, Tootie, portrayed by Eliza Figueroa of Schenectady, and Agnes, portrayed by Kellie Patnode of Clifton Park.


Mr. Alonso Smith, portrayed by Tom Tift of Averill Park, shares happy memories with his wife Anna Smith, portrayed by Suzanne Baker, also of Averill Park.


Warren Sheffield, portrayed by Jeff Wuerstlin of Clifton Park, and Rose Smith, portrayed by Mindi Schwab of Albany, engage in a lover's quarrel while John Truitt, portrayed by Jake Fisch of Averill Park, and Esther Smith, portrayed by Claudia DeMartino of Rotterdam, stand between them caught in the happiness of their first love.


Grandpa Prophater, portrayed by Dick Griffin of Stephentown, and Lon Smith, portrayed by Will Gallagher of Brunswick, get a bit of strong advice from their Irish maid Katie, portrayed by Jane Figueroa of Schnectady.
